Library Information Officer (Arendt & Medernach - Luxembourg)

Your role:

  • Recording information and participating in the updating of the library database
  • Follow-up of borrowing and reminders
  • Follow-up of orders, invoices, and budget
  • Participation in legal research
  • Carrying out a monthly editorial watch
  • Participation in the training of new joiners, incl. e-learning development
  • Maintaining our Intranet workspace up-to-date
  • Participating in  various  knowledge  and  information  projects  (long-term  legal research, legal watch, moving, etc.)

Your profile:

  • Experience in library management (with at least 2-3 years of experience) and in database management (such as kentika)
  • Legal research skills using specialised databases
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams …)
  • Perfect command of French and English, spoken and written
  • Communicate effectively and keep staff informed in a timely manner
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritise
  • Strong team player, dynamic, autonomous and resilient
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the firm
  • Show commitment to the role.
