Reporting
In this role you report to the Chief of Service of the ‘Secretariat’ – Maarten Daeleman. You will also look after the needs of many stakeloders and work closely with the IT department to shape the projects.

Tasks and responsibilities
The Enterprise Information Manager has multiple responsibilities

  • shape a general policy as an Experience Expert
  • as Change Manager, guiding the NBB in embracing a homogeneous policy
  • monitor the implementation of the roadmap as a Content Expert
  • keep the debate around the different tools on the agenda as an Innovator
  • act as a Single-Point-Of-Contact for the other departments/users within the Bank regarding Enterprise Information
    – defining specific rules and best practices regarding the use of the products
    – assistance to users of the document management tools
    – developing user manuals
    – building an Enterprise Information community
  • as People Manager directing the EIM team of the NBB (one internal and two external employees)
  • as Project Manager, setting priorities for the team and making choices for the future of the NBB
  • as Ambassador responsible for the internal branding and the exhalation of a flanking policy on adoption

Goals first 12 months
In the first weeks you will have the opportunity to get to know the NBB, the stakeholders and the way of working. After a familiarization period, you are expected to shape the EIM strategy and vision and to quickly take on the role of EIM Manager.

Reason for the vacancy
The recruitment of the Enterprise Information Manager is an investment by the NBB, based on the strategic objective « Digitalization » that gave rise to the project on the alignment of Enterprise Information Management (EIM).

Profile

As an Enterprise Information Manager you are

  • an expert in Information Management and document management
  • experienced in setting up an information management policy
    – focus on the use and standardization of SharePoint(Online)
  • a people manager
    – managing the EIM team
    – representing this team within the NBB power user community
  • an ambassador
    – creating and guiding an information management community within the NBB

You have a master’s degree and at least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar challenge, ideally in banking.

We are looking for candidates who can present the following:

  • Successful realizations with regard to translating strategic, tactical or operational policy into concrete and measurable objectives
  • Demonstrable experience around
    – technical knowledge of SharePoint Online and Office 365
    – affinity with a legal and administrative environment (data classification, retention policy, etc.)
    – passionately transferring knowledge to direct and indirect colleagues
  • Competencies related to
    – organization and coordination
    – the ability to work collaboratively
    – excellent communication skills
  • Examples of your contribution as
    – team player and a good mediator,
    – enthusiastic and persuasive advocate for change and innovation
    – active information seeker to keep abreast of the market

Have a good knowledge (level B2) of the two national languages ​​and English as you work in a bilingual environment.
