The Document Management Responsible develops and implements processes related to document control and management and ensures document storage to comply with laws, regulations and internal policies.

Your challenge:

Responsibilities

  • Paper and electronic archives Management with a specific focus on HQ and Carmeuse Western Europe:
    • Handle the full archiving lifecycle (from creation to destruction)
    • Support local archives relay points, advise them as requested
    • Maintain a minimum weekly service to guarantee the archives continuity
    • Support users searching for documents
  • Deadline Tracker
    • In charge of the implementation, promotion and adoption of the tool
  • Document Management process and lifecycle
    • Make sure existing processes are followed and updated when required or appropriate
    • Ensure document retention in line with local laws, regulations and Carmeuse internal retention deadlines – supervise changes in laws & regulations
    • Train users & newcomers on general document management principles
    • Participate in Information Management Governance meetings (data classification, etc…)
  • Electronic Archiving
    • Support in implementation of an Electronic Archiving System
    • Administer the tool once life
    • In charge of training of & adoption by users
  • Support Knowledge Management Team in HQ​​​​​​​
    • Facilitate Lessons learned
    • Organize lunch and learn meetings
    • Promote Knowledge Management in HQ

The Ideal Candidate Profile:

Basic requirements

  • University degree – Bachelor
  • Or minimum 4 years of business experience, preferably Document Management, archives
  • Fluent in French and English, written and spoken

Needed Knowledges​​​​​​​

  • Document Lifecycle, Archiving process
  • High level project Management
  • Microsoft Office – O365 tools
  • E-archiving Tool
